Lychee & Raspberry Smoothie

We’ve all had smoothies, but if you’ve never had one made with the fruit lychee, you’re in for a real treat. The floral flavor is reminiscent of cherry and banana. Since it’s difficult to find fresh lychees, canned are the best, and easiest way to go.

If you can’t find a 20 oz. can of lychees at your local grocer, look for them at an Asian market.

Instructions

Purée lychees, ice cubes, raspberries, ginger, zest, and salt in a blender until smooth; strain, if desired. Divide between two glasses and serve immediately.
