These fudgy brownies are an unmatched base for ice cream, making an exceptional brownie sundae.
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°. Spray a 13x9-inch baking pan with cooking spray. Line the pan with parchment paper, letting excess extend over sides of pan.
Combine butter and semisweet chocolate morsels in the top of a double boiler. Cook over simmering water, stirring constantly, until melted and smooth. Remove from heat; stir in cream.
Whisk together granulated sugar, flour, cocoa, and baking powder in a large bowl. Stir in chocolate mixture, eggs, and vanilla until moistened.
Stir in milk chocolate morsels. Spread batter into prepared pan.
Bake until edges begin to pull away from sides of pan, 30 to 35 minutes. Let cool completely on a wire rack. Dust with confectioners’ sugar, if desired
