To stale fresh bread, cube it and spread on a baking sheet, then dry in a 200° oven for about 2 hours.
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°. Coat a 9×13-inch baking dish with nonstick spray.
Stir together French bread, cornbread, broth, apple juice, and eggs.
Sauté onion, celery, and apple in butter in a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat until soft, 3 minutes. Add onion mixture, raisins, parsley, sage, and thyme to breads mixture; mix well, season with salt and pepper, and transfer to prepared baking dish. Bake dressing until golden, about 45 minutes.
Briefly sauté the onion, celery, and apple to soften, then add them to the soaked breads.
Chop the parsley, sage, and thyme together, then add them to the bread mixture before baking.
