and chill. Then, start cooking the cabbage about 20 minutes before broiling the corned beef brisket.
Instructions
Heat cabbage, broth, cloves,
garlic, and pepper flakes in a
pot over medium; simmer,
covered, until cabbage is
fork-tender, about 20 minutes.
Uncover pot; simmer 3 minutes
to remove excess moisture.
Stir in butter, salt, and black
pepper; discard cloves and garlic.
