Everyone loves a side of mashed potatoes, but when they're loaded with creamy, nutty Gouda, it's a recipe you'll turn to often. You could make a meal just of these, but they're perfect with our slow cooker Swiss Steak.

Ingredients

Yukon gold potatoes add buttery flavor and creamy texture.

Instructions

Boil potatoes in a large pot of salted water until fork-tender, 1015 minutes. Drain potatoes and return to pot, stirring over medium heat to evaporate excess liquid, 30 seconds.

Stir Gouda, buttermilk, yogurt, and chives into potatoes, then mash and season with salt and pepper.
