Roasted Broccoli with Cheese Sauce
The whole family — even the pickiest of children — will suddenly love a side dish of this broccoli when it’s doused in cheesy goodness like this!
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°.
For the broccoli, remove stems from broccoli, peel, and cube. Cut tops into florets.
Toss broccoli cubes and florets with oil, season with salt and pepper, and transfer to a baking sheet. Roast broccoli until tender, 10–15 minutes.
For the sauce, simmer milk in a large saucepan over medium heat.
Stir in American cheese, Cheddar, and Tabasco; season with salt and pepper. Serve cheese sauce over roasted broccoli.
