How to Make Herb Butter
Love using fresh herbs, but worried the leftovers will go to waste? Here's a simple way to give them a satisfying second use!
Fresh herbs can take a dish from good to great, but a little goes a long way. To avoid the costly experience of throwing away leftovers you don't get a chance to use, put them to use in compound butter!

Finely chop the herbs, then mix them into soft butter. Wrap the mixture in plastic wrap, roll it into a tube, and either freeze or refrigerate it. The herbs won't turn black like they do when frozen plain, and the flavorful butter can be used for many things. Try one type of herb on its own, or experiment with different combinations.
