How to Make the Prettiest Chocolate Curls
To make chocolate curls for decorating desserts, melt a cup of semisweet or milk chocolate chips, then pour the melted chocolate into an empty Crisco-stick container. Chill chocolate until solid, then remove the bar from the container. (The plastic container is flexable and easy to invert, which makes it a snap to remove the hardened chocolate.) Warm the chocolate bar to room temperature. Holding it with a paper towel, “peel” the chocolate with a vegetable peeler to make curls. Chill the curls until needed.
