How to Season Meat for the Grill
When seasoning meat for the grill, keep it simple, but pay attention to the little details to get the best flavor and texture.
You may have heard that a good cut of meat shouldn't need any seasoning. While that's not exactly true, when it comes to grilling, it doesn't take much to bring out the juicy flavor of many cuts of meat. In almost all cases, coarse sea salt and freshly ground pepper are all you need to season meat before cooking it on the grill. Fresh ground pepper is more flavorful than pepper you buy already ground. And coarse grains of sea salt dissolve slower than table salt, giving you crunchy little bursts of flavor.
