Space-Saving, Make-Ahead Breakfast Casserole
Overnight breakfast casseroles are nice for serving a crowd, but how can you optimize that prime refrigerator space?
With all the leftovers and made-ahead dishes taking up space in the refrigerator over the holidays, it can be hard finding room for a 9×13-inch casserole dish. For most breakfast casserole recipes, you can make it up the night before, then store the mixture in a pitcher in the fridge. Pitchers work better than wide, flat dishes for optimizing space, and all you have to do in the morning is pour the mixture in the baking dish and slide it in the oven.
