Tip for Stain-Free Cutting Boards
Beets and other dark, juicy foods can leave stains behind on cutting boards. Here's how to prevent that from happening.
To prevent beet juice from staining a cutting board, wipe a thin layer of vegetable oil on the board’s surface before chopping the beets. The oil keeps juice from penetrating, causing it to bead up so it’s easy to wipe away.
