How to Chop Warm Toasted Nuts
Toasted nuts add great flavor to cookies and other baked goods. Know when best to chop them, so they don't get unwieldy.
When a recipe calls for chopped toasted nuts, don't chop them before toasting or after they cool — do it when the nuts are still warm. Warm nuts are soft and pliable, and their oils prevent them from flying all over.
