Uses for Non-Skid Liner
Chop safer and more efficiently with this simple tip to keep your cutting boards from slipping and sliding. You can also use this handly liner to keep your foods safe when transporting in the car.
Use cushioning nonadhesive shelf and drawer liner to place underneath your cutting board to hold it in place — it’s a mesh of soft plastic nubs. Cut sections that are a little smaller than your cutting boards, and keep them rolled up in a drawer. The lining cleans up nicely too.
You can also use non-skid liner when transporting prepared foods in the car to a social gatherings or parties. Place a piece of non-skid liner in and under the box. That way the food doesn’t slide around and spill in the car (or even inside the box). You can also put a non-skid mat in your pie carrier so the pie doesn’t slide around and break off your decorative crust edges.
